I have been teaching since 1998. I have taught all subject areas and worked with grades 2nd – 4th. I am currently working to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT). I teach Alpha Phonics and use the Take Flight program developed by Scottish Rite. I love working with elementary aged children. When they have an “Aha!” moment and things start to click, it makes my teacher heart happy! I want to help children reach their full potential and build their confidence in academics. I have worked as a private tutor since 2017; primarily reading and STAAR test prep.
