I am a Bilingual Certified Teacher with experience teaching Pre-K, third grade, fifth grade, English as a Second Language and Spanish. My native language is Spanish and I have received formal education in both English and Spanish. Like John Cotton Dana, I also believe that “Who dares to teach must never cease to learn,” which is why I am currently working on my master’s in Educational Leadership to help me provide a better quality of education for my students. 

Working with students towards growth and independence is critical in helping them achieve their learning goals and it is one of my favorite parts about teaching. It is very gratifying to see their confidence grow and their motivation increase! I like to teach my students however they learn best, so their personalities, learning needs, learning styles and preferences are always incorporated in their lessons. I love working with kids and adults and to be a part of their learning journey!
